Shannon Chisholm

This is Shannon. She was riding her bike on Hendersonville Road July 17, 2011 and was struck by a car going 45 mph. She was thrown in the air then bounced off of the car and ended up on the pavement with a crushed spine. Shannon has the most amazing and strong spirit. When I met her this past October I was almost speechless when I realized how she was so positive and shining. Her mission was in the beginning stages so that is what brought me to her. The Chisholm Champion Challenge on Jan. 27-28 2012 will help raise fitness awareness and money for her recovery. To contribute or learn more about the Chisholm Champion Challenge, call Debbie LeCroy at 273-6789 or Jolene Puffer at 216-8134.

A great article about Shannon came out in the local paper today, so click through to read more about her and the Chisholm Champion Challenge:

Dennis/Shannon – I’m your dad’s brother. I feel sad about this heartbreaking incident. It’s been a long time I last saw you as small boy, pre-teen, but memory last. With the Almighty’s wisdom, I have no doubt Shannon will walk again. She possesses the strength, physically and in spirit.
